Rain Soul, Soul Red or Core: which one, and can you combine them?
Three products, three purposes, and the same question in almost every message we get: which one should I start with, and do I need more than one? Here is the difference in composition, in price per serving and in practice.
The three products people compare most often are also the three that look most alike on the shelf: two gels in sachets and a green liquid, all built on cold pressed seeds, all taken once or twice a day. The differences are real, though, and they decide both what you get and what you pay.

The short answer
Soul is Rain’s first product, a seed gel in a sachet with black cumin, black raspberry seed and grape seed, 30 sachets per box, taken once or twice a day. Soul Red builds on the same idea with red raspberry seed powder and black cumin seed oil, but has 4.03 grams of blend per sachet instead of 3.5 and 15 sachets per box instead of 30. A serving of Soul Red costs $3.70 in the United States, versus $3.34 for Soul. Core is a different kind of product, a green liquid with kale, spirulina, wheatgrass and herbs, built to complement a seed gel rather than replace it. If you want one product, take Soul. If you want a second one, Core adds something Soul does not have. Taking Soul and Soul Red together mostly means paying twice for the same idea.

Soul or Soul Red
Both gels contain black cumin, grape seed, raspberry seed, D ribose and resveratrol. The differences are the raspberry, black in Soul and red in Soul Red; the form, whole seeds in Soul versus seed powder and seed oil in Soul Red; the amount, 3.5 grams of blend per sachet versus 4.03; and above all the box, 30 sachets versus 15. That last point is why a box of Soul Red costs less than a box of Soul. Per serving it is the other way around. In the United States a serving of Soul costs $3.34 and a serving of Soul Red $3.70, about 11 percent more. Rain positions Soul Red as the more concentrated gel. Neither may carry a health claim in the EU, because none of the ingredients has an authorized claim there.
Soul or Core
Core is not a stronger Soul, it is the vegetable product. Two grams of seed blend per serving sit next to almost two grams of herbs and greens: kale, spirulina, wheatgrass, milk thistle, dandelion and aloe vera. It is liquid rather than gel, measured in the cap, and it is the one Rain product that is not gluten free, because wheatgrass may carry traces. Per serving it costs about the same as Soul, $3.39 against $3.34. The choice is therefore not better or worse but different: seeds only, or seeds plus greens.

Can you combine them?
Yes. The products are made to be taken together and Rain sells them in packs, Soul and Core being the classic pair: the gel in the morning, the greens with a meal. Keep within the recommended dose for each product and remember that black cumin appears in all three, so three products is more of the same seed, not three different things. Soul and Soul Red together makes little sense for most people, it is the same idea twice. If you take medication regularly, check with a doctor or pharmacist first, grape seed and black cumin can affect how some medicines are broken down. And whatever you pick, start with one product for 30 days before you add a second, otherwise you will never know which one did what.
Who should pick which
- Soul, if you want the simplest daily seed routine, at the lowest price per serving of the three.
- Soul Red, if you specifically want the red raspberry seed and the larger dose, and the price per serving does not bother you.
- Core, if greens rarely make it onto your plate, and you are not avoiding gluten.
- Soul plus Core, if you want both ideas and can carry roughly $201.97 a month for it, at one serving of each a day.
