About pure
Pure is Rain’s product for anyone who wants to add bacterial cultures and fiber to their diet. Each serving contains ten strains of lactic acid bacteria, with Lactobacillus acidophilus the single largest item at 12 billion CFU, plus Bifidobacterium bifidum and Bifidobacterium lactis at 3.5 billion CFU each.
Alongside the bacterial cultures, pure contains inulin, a water soluble dietary fiber extracted from chicory root. Inulin is not broken down in the small intestine but reaches the large intestine largely intact, where gut bacteria can use it. A serving provides 2 grams of dietary fiber. To that come cold pressed oils from pumpkin seeds, watermelon seeds and flaxseed.
Pure is free from soy and gluten and is also available in lemon lime flavor. One package provides 30 servings.

Buy pure at rainintl.comAbout inulin and the fiber in pure
Inulin counts as a prebiotic fiber, meaning it acts as a substrate for the gut’s own bacteria. Rain built pure around the combination of fiber and bacterial cultures in the same serving. It should be said plainly that no health claim has been approved for either lactic acid bacteria or inulin in this form, so we describe what the product contains and leave it to you to judge whether it suits you.
What the research agrees on most is that gut flora responds quickly to what you eat, and that the single most important factor is the amount of fiber from whole foods: vegetables, legumes, whole grains, fruit and nuts. A supplement like pure is a complement to that, not a replacement for it.
