vida

Drops with vegan vitamin D3, vitamin K2, vitamin E and oil from sea buckthorn seeds, with lemon flavor. You drop them under the tongue.
What vida contains
Vida is Rain's first vitamin product in drop form. According to Rain's store, it contains:
- Vitamin D3 from a vegan source.
- Vitamin K2.
- Vitamin E.
- Oil from sea buckthorn seeds.
- Lemon flavor from lemon seeds.
Rain's store does not state how much of each vitamin a dose provides. That is printed on the bottle, and it is that figure that decides how vida fits together with other dietary supplements you already take.
How you take vida
Rain's instruction is to shake the bottle gently, put the drops under the tongue and let them dissolve. How many drops make one dose is printed on the bottle. More products and how they are taken are covered in our guide how to take Rain Soul and Rain's other products.
What can be said about vida in the EU
Vitamin D, vitamin K and vitamin E have approved health claims in the EU, for example that vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and that vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Such a claim may only be used if a daily dose provides at least 15 percent of the reference intake of the vitamin. Rain's store does not state the amounts, so we repeat the claims only once we have seen the figures on the label. Sea buckthorn seed oil has no approved claims.
Good to know before you start
Vida contains vitamin K2. The NHS in the UK writes that anyone who takes warfarin should not take supplements with vitamin K, because vitamin K affects how the medicine works. If you take blood thinning medicines, talk to your doctor before you start.
Vitamins D and E are also found in other dietary supplements, among them Rain's bend and ordinary vitamin tablets. Add up the amounts if you take several, and follow the dose on the bottle. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or want to give vida to a child, ask a midwife or doctor first. More about caution is in our article on Rain Soul in pregnancy, for children and with medicines, and always check the packaging and Rain's official information.
