What Boost contains

Boost is Rain's seed oil in liquid form. According to Rain's store, it consists of three oils:

Black cumin seed oil, the same seed that is the base of soul.
Oil from pomegranate seeds.
Fractionated coconut oil, a neutral oil that carries the other two.

Rain's store does not state how much of each oil a teaspoon contains. That is printed on the bottle.

How you take Boost

Rain states one teaspoon, that is 5 ml, a day, mixed into a drink of your choice. Shake the bottle before use and keep it in the refrigerator after opening. What can be said about Boost in the EU

Rain describes Boost as support for the cells, the immune system and energy. In the EU there are no approved health claims for black cumin seed oil, pomegranate seed oil or coconut oil, so we do not repeat those claims. What we can say is what the bottle contains and how it is used.

Good to know before you start

Boost contains black cumin seed oil, the same seed as in soul. In studies summarized by the NIH database LiverTox, black cumin has had moderate effects on blood sugar and blood pressure. Whether that matters together with medicines has not been studied, so if you take medicines, especially for diabetes or high blood pressure, ask your doctor first.

The Swedish Food Agency (Livsmedelsverket) advises pregnant women to avoid plant extracts, so talk to a midwife or doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
